got word that my green Scrapivore is ready to ship! the funds are clear but I'm in bill pay mode so i'll wait until next week to snag it. I may just wait until Christmas day to open the box.
also have a deal going for a Benjamin Discovery air rifle. If I can squeeze it in then that might be all my fun money for a while. but i do plan to put a shroud (airgun term for sound suppression) on the rifle to quiet it down a lot. should get it down to a whisper.

I'm thinking of picking up a new pistol this week, a 1911 style but in 9mm or 22. I either want a Taurus pt1911 9mm or the sig 1911 in 22, I'm leaning towards the sig for the inexpensive ammo for practice, I have several 45s and figure the 22 will be perfect for practicing.

was looking at a few .22 1911's earlier this year. seems like they make some pretty decent pistols. I think I looked at ATI and Chiappa reviews. I think I'd rather snag a ruger like the one JJ picked up.

I read some reviews of the colt 1911 22 made by WALTHER! If you're interested here is one link. http://www.colt22rimfire.com/index.php?page=colt-1911I saw a lot of good reviews on it, PLUS it IS threaded for a suppressor! Same one that fits the Walther P22 fits this one.
