We'll have doe days all week next week, maybe I can put some meat in the freezer. I don't care if I kill a buck, unless it's a wall hanger. Other than that, I'd just as soon have a doe for eating.

I THINK they said there were about 250K deer killed in missouri.

Our county had 1276 deer killed in the 2010 season, if I'm reading the chart right. Not bad, but there are still plenty of them around.

North Carolina as a whole was almost 167k, according to the wildlife charts.

I used to hunt The Martha Perry wildlife area in MO. Back in the day there were some huge bucks there.

Well it seems the paper was wrong, imagine that. The most amount of deer killed in one county this season was 3483 and the statewide total was 190,089.

Total Mule deer was 34,700. But I'm not sure how accurate their data is. We don't have mandatory game check stations.

Last whitetail I shot I got about 45 lbs of meat out of it after all was said and done, and it was a decent size buck.
