We had a situation here where a skunk got a plastic drink container stuck around its neck.
The local newspaper did almost daily up-dates on the effort of the local humane groups trying to rescue the skunk before it starved.
It went on for a couple of weeks, I know Vancouver is nuts but even I couldn't believe it.
The outpouring of relief when it was caught and freed was crazy.
I would have just shot the thing myself

Best shine I ever had was from the Hills of Tennessee. An ole boy brought me back a quart from vacation once when I was stationed in Omaha. Best I ever had was some applejack. Use apples instead of corn mash. Peach brandy is pretty tasty too.

My family was a bunch of bootleggers back over the years. There might even be a still working in the family now <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I remember the first time I had "Long island Iced tea". Oh man! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" /> I didn't know what it really was and drank 4 or 5 of them. A little Thai girl that couldn't have weighed 100 pounds put me under the table and then stomped on me! I don't know how she did it unless she drank A LOT!

Dad made a scale model of a still and entered it in the fair. He got a visit from the local ATF agent. Said it was a VERY good model.
