We get the heros here that think 4x4 suv's and pick-ups with all season tires means you can drive at lightspeed in the snow. I preach at em all the time, Lock it in 4 and drive slow! And have proper tires or chains. Both my car (front wheel drive) and my wife's 4x4 have 4 snow tires on them

I don't havve those kind of skills or time. I had Alan Davis make it. He made the purple micarta out of some of his daughters jeans. I'm not too big on G10 but I love crazy micarta. I think thats why I like the D.Farmer Blue Burlap I've been carrying. That and it cuts like a Razor.

He was scared if he stopped he wouldn't be able to keep the bike up.
Cell service is spotty up there so he didn't want to fall over and not be able to call for help.
