Not counting Tuesday, Just Sat through Monday night we had about 5 inches of rain from that system Todd.

Just got a call from the Paducah Kentucky NWS (who does our weather) and they said we could have 1 1/2 to 2 inches of snow on the ground by 9am when it will be over.

One of the guys here hunts out of a barn loft. He has a recliner and a heater up there, and watches a bait pile about 50 yards away. I told him that isn't hunting, but just shooting.

Yeah, they're calling for snow showers here tomorrow night as it wraps up. It's gotta get a lot colder for that.

And don't forget a foot heater! And maybe a hotplate for coffee or tea or even hot chocolate. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> And you could always plug in an electric blanket if it got real cold. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I don't know which weather site to believe. I've got one saying 3/4 inch through Wednesday night, and another saying at least 2 inches and maybe as much as 3.

It'll be a good day to sleep, no matter how much falls!

I don't do shelter hunting. I like to be able to move around. I guess I just like being sneaky about it. Nothing like getting within a few feet of big game and never having them realize you are there.

I gotta get up and be rolling by 12:30 though, a friend is having her birthday lunch tomorrow at 1pm and I was invited.

I wish I was that light on my feet, but if I get within 50 yards I've done good. I've seen more deer this year than ever, so either I'm getting better at moving around or I'm getting worse, cause they've mostly been retreating at high speed.

Not to bad today. She didn't get sick at all and only had to take one pain pill. We're actually looking forward to next week. Because By Thursday at the latest it will be over.
