Well, I'd get one if it were me. Both to get back and forth from the airport, and for going out to eat and such. The extended stay is far enough that I wouldn't want to walk.

Even in the "nice" part of Atlanta, I still carry as much as I legally can. Been wondering what I can bring. I'm usally loaded for bear. Hate being the tourist.

You COULD take a cab back and forth, and from the airport to the hotel and back, but I'll bet you can get a cheap rental for no more than all that cabfare, plus you'll be able to go whenever you're ready.
