One a happier thought (no point in jumping to conclusions to worry ourselves), I did get to play with my silencer after work. Unbeknownst to me, I don't have to have the tax stamp to use my silencer at the FFL dealer/range that is holding it for me. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I thought so too. After my captain kicked me out of the office early today, I hit the range to try out the new grips. When the owner of the range asked if I wanted my silencer as I headed to the range, I grew an instant perma-smile.

I found a dealer that deals directly with Silencerco so there was no wait. I hate to cheat on the other gun dealer as he treated me great, but...
This dealer is a chain store, Impact Guns. I usually buy as local as I can, but at least the Silencerco factory is only a few blocks from the new range.
