I'm back, and spent a surprising amount on only 6 knives. The largest, a Swamp Rat M6 custom, was also the least expensive. One of the knives I bought had a coating blemish, so I left it with the crew to return it to the shop for refinishing. I'll try to post pics tomorrow, but I bought:
1) A Swamp Rat M6 Custom ($198.95) 2) An All-Orange (G10 and coating) Custom hollow-ground Active Duty ($242.00) 3) A 0.17 inch hand-shaped black canvas Micarta Game Warden ($257.00) 4) An All-Orange Custom hollow-ground Boss Street [I left it for refinish] ($282.00) 5) An Orange Giraffe Bone Drop Point Hunter [a new BC model using "Hog Muk" handles] ($367.00) 6) A Custom Bowie-ground Boss Street with a fully sharpened spine [The receipt says Sage/OD G10, but it looks gray to me] ($377.00)
Add in 6% sales tax, and I was out the door for about $1827. I usually buy only Combat Grade knives -- this Custom Shop stuff gets expensive very quickly.
