(Start humming patriotic tune while reading) I honestly believe that with winter knocking on our doorstep, the need for processing fahrwood with a dedicated big blade knife is a must.SURE a little knife can process some kindling but that's what the 511 was for. I think it is quite feasible that the 711 or 911 is needed at such a cold time in the year to keep those who are dependent on life saving warmth when out in the woods either by choice or faced with a do or die survival situation. I believe in order to maintain these survival goals one MUST have the correct equipment like the 711 or 911 to stay alive and come home SAFE to their loved ones. Once people realize it was that BIG BLADE that kept them alive they will ALWAYS come back to those that served them best and kept them going through whatever Mother nature's challenges were dished out. I feel the 711 or 911 BEST suit these needs.
