Just curious...does the spacing of those horizontal strapping allow for the appropriate dimensions needed to mount a malice clip to molle patterns? It would be fantastic if you could double it's functionality as such....then I could get leather and happily mount it to my backpack as well <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

It's not really whether it has the appropriate dimensions or not, but rather can it be made to work with the Malice clips and Molle straps. The answer to that is Yes, I'm pretty sure I can do that. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
