Just received my new firesteel yesterday from Dog Tired. Simple, no frills this time, for inclusion in a pocket kit. It measures just a tad over 3 1/4 inches by my cheapo Dare ruler. The rod has a 38spl case for a handle and It does like a fire steel should! Thanks DT! And it got here just in time for Christmas(Thanks Santa)! Oh and he included a (Saw blade) scraper as well.!

He makes some good stuff and has a Scrapyard Guarantee! (Haha, well ALMOST)

Zebralight headlamp H600,
Quick clot for the FAK,
5/16"x4" ferrocium rod to add to an antler like Dogtired's creations. This one will go on my Rainwalker combo rig that carries the 6.5" regulator and scrapivore.

Cegga, Michael Crgonja, is a master smith for Hultafors/Hults Bruk in Sweden. Most of his axes are modified versions of the Hultafors Classical line of axes. Difficult to get as they are not sold online or in stores. I had to contact him directly, via email, to order.

I bought about 48 cans of vegetables and 10 cans of meat. 25lbs of salt, some oats and dried beans and got a screaming deal on some newly packaged mountainhouse meals. I also bought some rechargable batteries AA and AAA with a charger I can hook into my solar panels.

I bought a 1.75L bottle of this from a local liquor store for $20:

Okay so maybe your life won't depend on it, but if I need to leave my place in a hurry, I can guarantee you with 100% certainty that this sucker is coming with me.

I didn't buy it but I was given a .308 which will make an excellent counter part to the one I already have. It shoots a one inch group at 100. Can't ask for much better than that.
