I would say I like your sig line JJ, but I don't want to get called into court as a witness for the Plantiff! I figure that sig line would give a little insight into what kind of man would name his son after a book.

I would say that if nothing else, he has a sense of humor. Probably sick too, I think he would fit right in with us. I like him!

I picked up an alcohol stove. Well it came in today. This thing is a solidly built brass stove.

I bought some more magnesium shavings off eBay; I like the idea of adding some to the p/j cotton balls.

Bought a SYKCO 511 just now.. I also picked up some ignite-o fire-starter packets from home depot today. By far one of the most economical, easiest lighting and longest burning firestarters I have ever used.

Thanks for that intel Dres. I ordered a 20 pack of ignite-o's for the BOB based on reviews I had found online, but it's good to hear a thumbs-up from the Yard as well.

Yup... about $8 for 20 and 12-15 minutes of burn time. One word of advice... they are designed to light in the plastic they come wrapped in, however a small slice to expose the contents and it readily catches a spark.

That's a DD Travel hammock with DD 3x3 meter tarp. I like it. Now based on my experience I'm looking for a sleeping pad with good insulation value. Any suggestions?
