Good afternoon Randy. Sorry I didn't see your post earlier, I was just posting real quick before heading to bed. We're doing great! Just taking a break from playing with my little boy on the floor. I hope everything is going okay there!

I saw on the news that some shoppers had been shot, be careful out there dogs.

We went to WalMart at 10 o'clock last night; I got in line for a lap-top computer, hoping the store had enough. The store manager was walking by, so I asked him if they had several, or was I going to have to start a riot? He checked, and the store received 21 of them; I was number 15 in line so I scored after waiting TWO HOURS! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> The General loved it, because she could spend that time shopping while I was standing in line. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> However, she was sweet and bought a cold Dr. Pepper for me while I was waiting. Overall, a successful trip. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> We will be leaving soon for the lumber yard; getting materials to make a few more shutters. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

I ventured into the craziness myself today. Bought some exciting things like 4 packs of white t-shirts. Lol, we did snag a new blu-ray player and some movies.

I went to one store today: Dick's Sporting Goods. I bought three items: (2) BPA Free 32oz Nalgene Bottles, and (1) Benelli M2 Field shotgun.

That was enough Black Friday to last me for the next few years.

My wife goes out to one or two stores... she has fun with it... She doesn't get involved in the mad throngs of crazies...just takes my adult daughter and teenage son now for company...

Black Friday was good to us, but bad for my Dad.

Seems they were looking at our TV thanksgiving day and noticed the picture was mostly red with some blue. It worked for us(we don't watch TV a lot at the house, but Patty has started more with the holiday movies coming on, mainly Hallmark channel). Anyway they decided we needed a new one. Dad went to the stores (I would say he is braver than I am but he will be 83 in Jan so maybe it's Senility)! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Anyway, this morning they came by and dropped off our new Dynex 32 inch TV! Not bad, Not bad at all. Christmas is a month early, but no big deal!

I have never black Friday shopped and honestly I don't think I could handle the sheeple.
