I've only got 2 days left!! We have to make up an RMS (Records Management System) class that had been cancelled, and then we have our range qualification a week from this Saturday! Getting sworn in by the end of the month they said.

Maybe night quite yet all this talk of french maids and all. That and I just heard some cop sirens which is odd for my neighborhood I think I will stay up.

My 1911 shoots like a dream. We were doing a long day at the range last Saturday, and we were back at the 25 yard line, shooting 3 shot groups. The instructor says "the best your pistol can shoot this far out is about 3" groups - so don't be discouraged if your groups get considerably larger than they were back at the 10"

My first group was 2.5 inches, and I didn't have anything over 5" from the 25 shooting at a man sized silhouet. I sure wasn't doing that w/ my Glock!

Took my flashlight and my dog since I have been drinking. Just the fire dept at someonese house a few houses away. My dog was not going ape crap outside so I knew no one was on my property. Dogs rule.
