Nice setup. Very cool that you are able to visit such a diverse locale.

Well, I have the opportunity to make a return visit to the Amazon in October, so I wanted to take a bit more chopping power with me on this trip. Last time I took a Scrapper 5, and if I was only going to take one knife, I would again take it. I am going to take a pair this time and he crafted this for me;

Dogfather and a Mudpuppy are my planned workhorses. Will strap these to the outside of my pack. It rains constantly, so I prefer a kydex sheath to leather, and also the coated blades. As usual Rainwalkers work is absolutely fantastic.

Hope to see my friends again.

Nice set up

Thanks for sharing the pics

It's always a pleasure making kydex for you, Doc! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> I can't wait to hear how the trip goes. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Thanks guys for the complements on the rig. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Will be later on in the summer, but one of my biggest plans is to get some action photos of the knives this time. Took lots of photos, just not with knives. Never even thought about that last time <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> my bad!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />

Makes it harder to wait for my rainwalker sheath to be finished.

Unrelated to the original post, just received some heartbreaking news;

Timoteo (Timothy) on the right with the green bandana passed away a few months ago <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> He was the pastor of the small church in Kakataro. Apparently, as best they can tell, he developed a case of appendicitis and it ruptured before they could get him to a doctor. It is two days travel if you can catch a truck when you get to the road.....RIP
