I think if we get our line up right the 308 should take several cacti on one shot. I wouldn't doubt if the cacti around the Jeepers residence doesn't already have a few,.... ahh.... woodpecker holes in them! I think that Arizona state law has harsher punishments for killing cacti than people as I recall Saguaro are a protected species of cacti. Go to jail for messing with one of those puppies, although they are awesome so... The last tool I heard of someone who shot one with a shotgun several years ago was killed when the arm (which takes 75 years to grow) fell on him and crushed him. Awesome! I didn't realize they grew that slow. They are so beautiful - the bets part of driving to Tucson was the hills that were just covered w/ them.
They do look [censored] fun to shoot at and don't think I did not bring it up.

Get the AUS-8 aluminum model if you are goin to go for it. I have one of the aluminum models and they are a great all around blade despite what the steel snobs say. +1 I'm still using mine after several years. It's a great little blade for the $.

It's a great little blade for the $. Mine has the aluminum handles - good to go. Mine has the regular LAWKS system, which I like better than the Autolawks. I have nothing but great things to say about their warranty - the first -14SFA that I got had a crappy liner lock that went all the way across the tang - all jacked up - sent it in and they sent me a new blade. They also send out free replacement parts / clips / bearings / etc.
