I've thought about a 308 but feel the 223 works just fine for my purposes.

223 is a great round. I love my AR's...they never cease to amaze me at the damage they do (with the right ammo) to living animals. Barnes TSX kills kills and kills.

They BOTH like pork! The 308 just likes it from further away <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I think they are also selling well for the cost of shooting them, that's why I picked up mine.
