My wish was granted. Its a whopping 16 degrees its snowing like crazy and the roads are slick as snot. The natives remained relatively quiet. Now one more day until vacation time!

It's supposed to hit us about Sunday night or Monday morning, so the experts are saying. I hope they're wrong, as I need to get new tires on the front of my truck before it gets here. They're in the barn, just gotta get them put on.

I hope we get at bunch of snow but it probably won't happen. If we got 18 inches I would be pretty happy.

I'm done for my wife and our two nieces but we have a rule that once you graduate then the gifts stop for the nieces and nephews. I may get my wife a few more small item.

I have tried to cut back on the excessive spending at Christmas. My wife has a huge family. They refuse to do a gift drawing where you buy a gift for one person and buy them a nice gift instead of spending 20-30 bucks each on 16 people. Well one family member has held out and the rest capitulated. I think I am going to throw out an idea for homemade christmas gifts next year. Maybe they will bite. 500+ bucks out the door is crazy.
