All I hear is "gimme gimme gimme" and "I want I want I want." That part of Christmas makes me sick of the whole thing.

I'm not even Christian and I don't like seeing the commercialization either.

I'm not in favor of commercialization of much of anything traditions wise. Thats one of the reasons I hate Valentines day so much.

I told my son the other day if I heard "I want" one more time I was gonna throw something at him. He's 17 years old, and that's old enough to know that Christmas isn't about presents.

Just checked my mailbox after checking the USPS website for delivery status. Didn't know the Post Office was operating on Saturdays still. Maybe they delivered since it is Xmas Eve.

I got the Ultrathin Ribbon mount I ordered last week. These things are awesome. I should have invested in a set of these a long time ago. The magnetic mounts are perfect.

I'm trying to instill some better morals and the spirit of giving in the runt. its not easy though.

Don't have any experience training ... err ... i mean raising a runt other than the time I have spent with my sister's little ones, but I would imagine instilling good morals in our society is hard.

Mine needs a good lesson in those things. He's a good kid, but lazy as can be. I'm HOPING that he'll go in the military when he graduates, but I'm thinking that he'll never do it.

He's in bad need of a lesson in responsibility and self-control. He needs a good structured environment for a while to learn how things are in the real world.

The biggest problem is unteaching all the BS they get from friends and school etc. Its a constant battle.
