Awake and bored. What a combo!

Especially on Sunday night with nothing on TV to watch.

I am surfing the web trying to figure out how I am going to customize a sword.

I'm bouncing back and forth between here and Sigforum and Bladeforum, plus checking some news stuff out.

Anything to stay awake!!!

I'll be doing well to make it till 0600 this morning. I only got about 4 hours of sleep yesterday.

Guess I have no one to blame but myself, but we had a lot of family stuff today.

Salt Lake being the industry heavy place it is, it was easy to find places that sell and cut plate metals. I figure I can a brass circle cut at 3" diameter and 1/4" thick and do the rest of the shaping with a drill, dremel and files.

The rest of the stuff for the handle is pretty basic stuff except for the few pieces I will have to get from Cheness directly. They sell most. Seems like they have a lot of customers making their own mounts.

Sounds like a good plan to me. Brass is pretty easy to work with.
