This one is definitely something I can do. The second one would be hard to emboss unless I used an acid etching kit but that wouldn't really be as deep as the image I made. This one I could just drill out the negative space and dremel/file the rest out.

I think that is still recognizable enough.

See the little Buddha or whatever that is in the wrap. I was thinking about putting one of the black EGA like this one in its place.



Or totally scrapping the traditional katana wrap and going full on Marine Corps like this. leather and brass wire.

I really like the traditional wrap, like on the Skizzy.

If I do a wrap, which I think I should, I will use camo 500 cord with the inner threads taken out in the traditional japanese wrap pattern which looks extremely easy to do.

With the wrap idea, I could remove the paint on the eagle globe and anchor to expose the brass to make it match the guard.
