I am wearing heavy RAT boots and using a pack. I need to build up the shoulders since we will be wearing packs when I get to the Combat Training Center in Cali next week. 4.1 miles in 00:30:16, best time yet. I am happy with 4 less than 8 minute miles back to back with a pack and boots, but there is a lot of room for improvement.

I have been using a short burst of Lysol in my boots after each use like the bowling alleys do with the rental shoes. It works great. My well used and sweat in boots smell quite pleasant. Seriously.
