Super glue and two butterfly stitches and covering in medical tape. Flushed it out with a saline and betadine solution first.

For a split second I thought it was just the top layer of the skin, but in an instant I felt the sting and burn followed by the warmth of the blood nearly squirting out. I must have hit a small artery. Was pretty messy for just a thumb.

It was the spine of the blade that got me too. Probably because I use single edge blades more often. It was the closest one, so grabbed it.

Keep it covered and plenty of triple antibiotic or neosporin if you are not allergic to it. It may be healed up in a couple of weeks.
