Never threw a pineapple, but I've thrown smoke grenades before. I can get them far enough away that I'd not worry about them taking me out.

I've got a couple dummy baseball grenades at home, and a couple pineapples too. Heavy little suckers, but just for giggles I threw them in the front yard once. I got them well downrange. Dad said if you could throw them 75 feet and drop before they go bang you're good.

I think it was the M-67 grenade. Its been a few years. M-67 is the baseball grenade, I think.

Looked it up, M-67 has a wounding radius of 15 meters, and should be thrown about 40 meters.

I think I should be a equiped with grenades for work now. Maybe a MK-19 on the roof for any meth labs we come across.
