My boy is about to run me nuts. He drives my old Ford Ranger, and he's always tinkering with it. No big deal. But this morning I get woke up about 10 am by the roar of an unmuffled engine. He thought it would be cool if it were loud. Grrrrr. Plus I worked last night too.
I will be so glad when he goes back to school Monday!

It can be. Having a vehicle is important to a teenager. No muffler no vehicle to use. Unless he took if off by destructive means.

He claims that he was tightening the clamps that hold it in place and sheared the bolts off. I don't believe him, but I told him that it had to be fixed before he could drive it anymore. He's down at the barn now trying to figure it out. I'll weld it back on Saturday if he doesn't get it fixed by then.

U-bolts aren't expensive. It depends on how far he has to walk to the parts store to get them.
