About time for some lunch, BBQ! It's ok to eat pork, but you can't eat any poultry product on New Years Day!

For good luck you are supposed to eat: Hog Jowls and black eyed peas! (or just any kind of pork will work). The reasoning, poultry, when it eats scratches and backs up. A Hog roots and goes forward!

I ordered a DD Travel hammock. It should be at my nearest post office in wed or Thu. I should get new boots also. I think I'll choose a full leather model without gore tex. Any suggestions?

Boots are a hard one to recommend. I like Asolo for hiking boots because they fit my feet. There are plenty of good boots out there. But you have to try them on and walk a bit to get an idea if you will like them or not.

For leather work boots I like the rocky ranger 9's and for my Duty boots I like the Bates enforcers. Mostly because they fit. A lot of makes seem to have too much slop in the heels and it makes for an uncomfortable walk and blisters for me.

Its been taking 3 or 4 posts on each new page to get it to show up. Server is doing weird things lately.

Couple of my workmates got the Adidas GSG 9.2 boots for duty. They told me that the boots feel like sneakers. I'll have to try them out. Other model is the new Finnish military boot.

I buy a new pair of duty boots every year. I have no idea what I will do when they stop making the enforcers.

I think I will attempt catching some shuteye. I'm not really tired but I need at least 5 hours of sleep to function. Have a great one and stay safe!
