This is an 84 C7 thats been converted to fuel injection. I like it the best of any jeep that I have owned so far. The commandos rocked. I would like to have one.

One of my friends had a beautiful 79 or 80 that had a 304 in it. That thing was indeed a beast, but he was too worried about keeping it pretty.

I have the 258 6 cyclinder. But it has 4:56 gears. 33 inch tires. 4 inch lift. Cut out fenders, front shackles reversed, quick disconnect sway bar and a host of other mods.

With that gearing I should be running 35 inch tires but I'm cheap and it has some pretty good tires on it.

Sounds like a pretty good rig to me. I always preferred the 258 myself, never owned one of my own that had any bigger. The Commando I had was rockin a 231 Buick V6, and it was a tough little booger.

Before the fuel injection it wasn't nearly as good. Those pulse air carbs sucked the fun out of everything.
