there's always the prepaid credit cards... I used one about 10 years back for a bunch of online stuff I was ordering. i guess it's about like paypal in the sense you are paying to use your money online with a bit of security.
i think I may end up grabbing another one soon because I'm paypals policies have always sucked.

It appears that now the DHS has a section that will be "Eavesdropping" on internet traffic, (social networks are already being tracked), twitter and emails of JOURNALISTS, that they are going to be spied on so the government can gain and maintain "Situational awareness".
