We're hearing it was possibly an F3. It tracked about 10-15 miles near the county line. Pictures I've seen make it look like a bomb went off.

It really was. We saw it coming on the radar up out of South Carolina, and you could see it building. Weather people were putting out the alerts at least a half hour before it hit, I think that's why nobody was killed.

Wow, you guys are lucky regarding the Tornado. We had a major electrical lightning storm last night, but other then that the weather is great.

I had several friends get their houses damaged, but none of them were very bad. I'm hoping that we dont' get a lot of bad news come daylight.

We have pretty reliable reports that it crossed over I40, and it did it during one of the busiest times of the day. Only two cars damaged, and those by a tree that fell when they were stopped because of the limited visibility.

I don't mind lightening storms, I don't mind Thunderstorms. I DON'T like high damaging winds or Tornadoes.

I was glad to be here, but I was concerned about my family. They were home, but the line of storms went about 5 miles southeast of the house. Still a little close for comfort, but my wife said it was windy for a bit but it wasn't THAT bad.
