Hey Jared! Yeah, Yote and I often get into religious/political discussions. He's "One of them", <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> but we are brothers in our thinking. Jared I really enjoy these conversations for a number of reasons. I feel comfortable enough with Randy to ask him questions, I have on occasion asked him about subjects in pm's about religious matters. We don't have to agree, only treat each other with respect YUP, what HE said!

Which is funny, because typically on the Internet, conversations of this sort usually degrade indue to the anonymity of the computer screen, I think it says a lot about the community here and the people that they can be held civilly I agree, everyone here behaves as if we are talking to each other in person

The only thing that bothers me is that I often have a hard time getting across what I actually am trying to say, what I actually mean because I don't want foster bad feelings.

What are boundaries/countries even states? Imaginary lines cooked up by people in power to separate us from each other, worse yet, we are tricked into doing it do ourselves, so we are easier to control, because together, the human race is compassionate and powerful, and can do amazing things for the betterment of everyone, yet, we feel we are so different because we live in one area or another, or believe different variations of a similar belief structure ( sorry it's early and I've barely had a cup of coffee)

And I may not have said that good enough to get my point across. Basically what I am saying is that "Good" people are good people no matter where they come from or what they believe or don't believe. We often (Incorrectly) say "Blank" are wrong or bad, when what we actually mean is "The leadership", not the Ordinary people who for the most part just want to be left alone to live their lives in peace with others. I was thinking about this just yesterday I am agnostic, and this may sound strange or hypocritical but I do believe in universal good and evil. I don't know how or why, as a non-believer I can say it is just a constant from the human condition, but the reality is that I just don't know.

But once again because we have all fostered this climate of respect, we give people the benefit of the doubt, and ask for clarification when needed

Yote, NONE of us really knows for sure. All we do is pick what we want to believe (or not believe)(which for the most part is based upon our upbringing). Even folks who say there is NO God, still (well at least most of them) believe in good and evil just like you do.

Sometimes I feel the same way, sometimes though I feel as though the intension is what is good or evil, not people or even the end result of their actions. I sway in between both , I think if you do something out of hate or anger or trying to control another person etc. that is causing the fabric of humanity to decay and can be called evil, on the other hand, things done out of love, compassion, caring and ( usually) bettering mankind as a whole and are what I would call " good"
