winter is the best time to dive around here due to the visibility I'm back, hope that wasn't to much info for ya. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Yeah Patty and I like Mingo in the late fall and winter for the same reason. Last time we were out there (last week) we saw a total of 12 eagles! But strangely enough, not one single deer, something the VERY seldom happens.

World class salmon fishing Salmon is good. When I was stationed in Idaho, our supervisor snagged Chinook Salmon as they ran up the river. He smoked a lot of the meat and it was pretty tasty. I caught a lot of trout up there, and boy was it tasty too.

I don't know how many fish I lost before I got the hang of it, almost everywhere there was trout fishing it was barbless hooks only! Plus I really enjoyed using a 2-4 pound test line with an ultra light open faced spinning reel.

We are lucky here, we have a lot of eagles around here

Being right on the water in that area of the country I have heard is prime eagle country. Do you have both Bald and Golden Eagles?

I wonder if that is because of all the people up there, both residents and visitors.
