I'm like you, I May not use all my knives, but the ones I have MUST be able to be used for what ever task I need. I Would NOT use a Randall for say a screwdriver or to short across leads to make an electrical contact. OR as a shovel or prybar. I probably wouldn't use ANY of mine for most of those things. I'm probably too easy on mine.

My Kershaw Outcast is my designated chopper, and it does it well. But I've got the BG Parang to try out, and it may well replace the Outcast. What's a shame is that I've got that DF that's never cut anything.

I listed after an Outcast for a long time and almost bought one, then I had a chance at a DF and SNAP, it was mine! (thanks again Sumo)!

I wish that Rainwalker would get himself a BG Parang. I would really like a nice piece of plastic for mine, Two piece of course with a partially open spine.

LOL! That sheath is the biggest problem I've had with mine so far too. I'd like something decent, kydex would be fine.
