Will a standard eye relief scope work on that rifle?

He bought his girlfriend a nice little savage 7mm08 for passing her hunters education course.
She is a real nice girl and they have been together for a couple of years now

Yes it comes drilled and tapped will normal scope bases if you don't want to use the rail

i normally dont like rugers but i really like this rifle, plus 308 win is my favorite all around cartridge for this area
