You should have Elk running around there Skunk. I know we shippped a bunch down in exchange for Turkeys. I THINK it was more in the Ozarks/central part of the state, where there are more hills and evergreen type trees that they are used to.

Elk were originally plains animals. Once they take hold you will see them everywhere. Just more frequently where its cool.
