I love my SY, I'll be a member/supporter forever but you do have to wait for them, and they are as is but they are so popular! You know <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> but if you want a custom or semi custom but don't want to spend an arm and a leg, get a Ranger. sweet, quality as good as sy?

close enough, SY's are among the best in the world (IMO) and Dan and Patti give at a great price, for what your getting but Rangers are very good, well worth it too.

5160 is a very good steel, easy to sharpen, strong, I like it a lot.
