That sucks MB. My sister has had all the knee surgeries (ACL,MCL). It does not look fun.

I'm wathcing Hoarders. This show always sucks me in.

This wasn't so bad. I have to say it was way better than I though it would be. The worst part was the cabin fever.

I had my elbow rebuilt a couple of years ago. So I was mobile quickly. But I'll never forget the nerveblock they put in my armpit. It was a total mind screw.

They are already pimping me for another surgery because the damage was worse than they thought. I'm not going to do it if I can help it. I can't be out for 18 months and keep my job.

18 months.. Wow... do you have long term dsiability? you might check under the FMLA family medical and leave act. Although I don't know of anything that woill cover 18 months.

We don't really have a long term disabilty to speak of. No medical retirement. I had 1000 hours of sick time. But I just burned through 120 hours.

FMLA covers you for 12 weeks a year and thats it. AFter that they can give you the boot. They would cover me for as long as I have time. Roughly 6 months then I would be SOL. With no income and no insurnace I would be done.
