I am not a fan of the U.N. we need to run them out of the U.S. I was shocked to see a United nations developement program commercial in U.S. Televeision.

According to Wikipedia, our population is about 91,000 in 507 square miles.
We have 124 employees here at the sheriff's office, with about 80 of those being sworn officers, and of those 80 we have 36 full time road deputies. CID has 9 detectives, drug task force has 8 detectives, and the jail/courthouse detail has about 25 officers, but not all of them are sworn. Plus the community guys, school guys and all the admin and clerical staff.

Our vans get out of service usually at 500 000 km and sedans about 300 000 km! I can tell you they are totally used! Our government is saving money... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> They are also decreasing the amount of the police men. There are now about 7500 police men in Finland and that number includes all the comissioners etc. So the amount of men in the streets ...or roads... is really too low. If I remember right Finland has the lowes number of police men in Europe! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" />
