Tagged #17 this AM in 15 degree weather. I'm glad I got one 'cause I was cursing myself for being that stupid to be sitting in a tree in the extreme cold <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Small doe--yearling I'd wager--but she'll taste good. I nailed her offhand at 100 yards with a 45-70. In through the neck, out through the shoulder/lungs. Dropped like a ton of bricks (ok, more like 75 lbs of brick) and never moved again. Missed the second deer, but that's ok. I shouldn't be TOO greedy <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> For those that say "pics or it didn't happen," sorry, but I'm too cold to deal with it :P Steaks on me <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> SF45ACP, I'm closing the gap! Jerky? The deer in the park are so tame, I could probably hand feed them. Think anyone would notice if I went hunting with a scrapizashi and carried the deer into my apt for processing on the porch?

Plenty of folks in Fairfax are fed up with the exploding deer populations.
