Late to the party, but looks like everyone answered the questions pretty well.

one thing I will add.

Try Keep your kydex clean.
I have had some customers shove a knife covered in mud or wet sand into there sheath, then when they get home clean the knife and wonder why the "sheath" is scratching the knife ? Well what happened was when you shoved the knife covered in mud and or sand into the sheath you embedded the small rocks into the plastic, the same would happen with leather or nylon.

If it is a user and you do not care shove away, but if you want to avoid this clean the knife before you put it back as best you can and wash the sheath every once in a while.

Also a thing to remember on the G-clips and other molded clips like a kydex clip, they are for one belt width and the tec-locs are adjustable. that is why I put them on my sheaths.

I also add a hole/eyelet to carry cross-draw at a 45 degree angle.

Hope that helps.

Feel free to e-mail me if I can help.

David

A great coaching point...everyone should make a note.

I have had several emails asking why their knife was scratched with very little use...it is always dirt in the sheath

Thanks much

Dan
