I have mine, Swamp Rat Rat Daddy. Next is the Busse EU-17 series, but that'll never happen.

I'm not sure actually...probably between a Rat Hunter, Dog Skinner, Desert Jack and maybe RMDx...

I was actually just thinking of starting this thread. I'd like to see pics from the dogs that actually have their grails. I can post some tomorrow.

What a difficult question to answer...
My original Grail, which remains my favorite Busse (or Kin) knife....is the SS4. I went on a binge...and ended up with 4 of them. Gave one to my father (now his most carried knife), sold another to a good guy right here on the forums...then decided I only needed one (which isn't going anywhere, unless I go broke in the near future) and sold another.

I really like the 4" knives. I think an SS4 LE would probably get me buzzing pretty hard. Although, that doesn't exist so it's hard to call that a Grail of any sort. I almost jumped on a BogDog that was up last week on the exchange...but showed great willpower not doing so (had to have a drink or two to sustain).

Right now...i'm infatuated with trying out a few fiddleback's (i blame RN and Jrod). Those handles are just soooo nice, and I love the hard working nature of them.

I think if I could have one bussekin, where price did not matter, nor did function....as in an ideal world where price nor utility concerned me....I'd love to hang a Satin Busse Ruck on my wall (black paper handles). So, maybe that's my grail. But, that won't happen unless I strike the lotto, because I am horrible about sending knives on their way that have no use to me (in a logical sense).

The chief cause of unhappiness and failure is trading what you want most in life for what you want at the moment.

Well it was and ASH1 with Black and Tan G10 ......got it....then a NMSFNO with Black and Tan G10.... got it....NOW.... NMFBM...with Black and Tan G10...
But I seem to take a great deal of comfort from "non grail" blades between the special ones....

I think my grail would have to be the ASH-1 with the .320" thickness . It just has that indistructable look to it . But I have a real itch for the knife that started Dan and the Yard , the Scrapper 6 . I'd love to get one of those . So hey , if anyone reading this wants to part with one
HOLD MY BEER AND WATCH THIS !
