I think the burl would go better with the sheath...
I guess this is the male way to be concerned with color combos.
Having only one pancake, leaves more room for bacon!

Stabilized woods are pretty, that's for sure. But I personally don't like them. They are hard as a rock from the stabilizing material. I DO NOT like "Rock" handles. Now Oiled wood is fine, as long is it does not have a hard finish. Just some tongue oil or just a mineral oil and I am good.
