Marine is easy to speak. You drink enough and Army, Marine and Cop are close enough to communicate just fine.

As far as I know the Chairforce only has one Basic training base, Lackland in San Antionio.

Yes. There are still many clubs here but none have any ladies. We usually go to Palm Springs for a night out. When we just want drinks, we sit in the bay.
There are four clubs here now. O-club, E-club, NCO-club "Blood Stripes,' SNCO-club "Rockers" The o club and staff club were there. I just thought it was interesting that there were seperate clubs for Corporals and Sergeants and no NCO club.

You ever visit main side Warren? I saw any given Sunday in that movie theater. There we're several enlisted clubs too. Sergeants club, corporals club, and the e club. E club was the happening place of the three. They just revamped the theater. It re-opened the week I got here. The seats are the best I have ever sat in in a theater and the projector is digital. Top of the line stuff now. The barracks, which a few of the students stationed here still stay in, have an indoor theeater as well as an outdoor theater. Yeah, it is nice. The outdoor theater hase stadium seating with a giant 40 foot digital LED screen. In the center of the seating there is a big BBQ pit area for cooking while watching football or whatever. That is where we watched the superbowl. The rooms in those barracks are really nice too. Like a hotel room.

Randy, no basic at 29 palms. Mostly artillery, tanks, that type of stuff. It's a HUGE base. A bunch of nothing.

Oh OK. Guess I've just heard 29 Palms in reference to advanced training AFTER boot camp.
Parris Island I know, what do they Call San deigo, anything besides just San Deigo?

29 Palms is where infantry, tanks, light armor recon, amphibious and air units are stationed and a lot of training happens. They have ranges for every weapons systems you can think of.

Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. It is near Camp Pendleton. The other is Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island.
