Well we hadn't been home for 10 minutes and the phone rang. It was work. They told me the sheriff is moving one of the deputies to dispatch (he kinda sorta blew up a patrol car at 120mph going to a scene that was NOT ours and that he was NOT needed at. Anyway, the sheriff has scheduled me for two weeks off (I loose it at the end of march if I don't take it). Anyway, I work my normal shift this week,get off Sunday morning and then don't come back until March 7th! God, I'll go crazy with that much time off.

He is the same Deputy that two winters ago slid his Taho into a tree on the ice, AFTER the sheriff told them to not go out unless they got a call. He just got bored at the office and decided to take a drive. He WAS off without pay for two days on that one. Oh he got two days off without pay for this time as well, but the sheriff decided I needed to take leave and he had this deputy that doesn't listen well.....
