You've got a rather unique way of putting things when you do the updates and the word of the day, it's entertaining to read.

I try and make it a little eye opening for folks.

I've looked at the numbers on your nights off and started to do the updates, but I couldn't figure it out. That's when I figured you were doing a fine job, and I'd let you keep on doing it LOL

Haha, it's elementary my dear Watson. Unless I made the last post on the Death chat, I make one there. I then go to the main index page. That gives me the total post count in the outdoors and field craft section. I then look at the post count in the Knives forum section. I type those up. I then look at the DC page count and put that down, then I add two more posts to the Knives Forum and TOTAL website post count (to include the post for the outdoors thread and the update post). That gives us the total post count for the site. So

outdoors thread = 24,000

Knives forum = 531,000

1 count for the Word
1 count for the update
TOTAL = 555,002.

Chapeish?

A lot of times if you add the Outdoors and Knives forum together it doesn't equal the actual post count. Due to some posts being deleted and so forth. That's why I always make sure I make the last post before doing the updates so I will have the correct number according to the site server.
