no never made it or any parts of it , this class was strictly at the keyboard, and Never gave it a name.

I've been reading in BF how to heat treat and temper, pretty cool stuff, they say after you do your research and draw your plans, you gotta just do it, even if it doesn't come out the way you planned, the experience will set you off and motivate you big time!

one guy said when he cooled his first blade, it twisted 70 degrees! but he still loves it! he learned and made a better one shortly after.

yes WD I would love to sit at the sander then toss my work in the fire and see how the magic works, I wish my passion for knives was stronger when I was younger and had my grandfather's shop at my disposal, I.E. the tools in it.

that sounds great, I know what you mean, but at least the stuff they have today is pretty good! Most makers will help you out James, share and teach you just have to find one in your area, I think their are tons in Oregon, I'm gonna find a few!
