If you want to charge 8 batteries at a wack you will need a much larger charger. I am guessing it would take my large 20 watt solar panel a while to charge 8 at a time and I use that to charge deep cycle batteries.

I charge 2 AA at a time with my 6 watt panel.

I never really thought about it until I realized how much I spend on batteries for headlamps, LED lanterns etc when I camp. Which ends up being 45+ days during the summer and fall. I bought a bunch of the enoloop AA and AAA batteries. The solar charger just makes my life easier. I'm not tied to a power source and I can venture further longer while enjoying the wonders of electricity.

A 20 watter! Holy cow. Charging two at a time isn't really all that bad, but I am thinking about getting the Jetbeam PA40 flashlight and it takes 4 aa batteries at a time.

I have several 2 way radios and LED laterns that take 4 AA's. My plan in to have a set in the light and a spare set. That way I can charge 2 at a time and not worry about needing the radio or light and still be trying to charge the batteries.

My wife has no problem working the pistol. But she is very proficient with most firearms. She liked the XD sub compact because it felt better in the hand than the G-27.
