My uncle that works the late hours at his PD likes his fenix and he has a cool 511 light this dosent use batteries. It uses a capacitor to run the led and it holds it's charge a long time and recharges in seconds

So MB, a 2 amp charger at 5 watts should work fine for aa batteries. ( I think that is what yours puts out, the usb one you just got).
Plus I can't believe how inefficient solar panels are.

Gdog, I've read about that light. It charges up in an unbelievably short time.

The one I have works just fine for 2 AA batteries in decent light. Its a 6 watt, 1.2 amp and 5 volts due to the USB.

My mom is not bad with my dads older g23 and even smaller subcompact glock. But she is not sure a glock is what she wants. The glocks slide is heavy for her. She can work it but want to feel more confident in working it. She wants a 40 s&w to keep the family guns all using the same ammo and if possible the same mags

Solar Panels are very ineffecient. But the bonus is the inefficency is free. Sunlight doesn't cost a dime.
