Yeah, they're not all that deep, and aren't they more just like scallops and not serrations like we normally think of them?

Gdog, get yourself a tapered diamond rod and practice. It's sorta like using a normal round rod but the taper to the rod allows you to sharpen different size serrations.

if you use it and sharpen it enough you wont have serrations.

I could probably sharpen them as is with the corner of a Sharpmaker stone.

I have one but I can never make them as sharp as they were from the factory. so now I try to avoid them. I I want the blade to cut like serrations but still be a plain edge then I use the method that I talked about last night

Gdog You MIGHT not be using a shallow enough angle.
