I would have been here but I had to take the ladies to a play. It was pretty good for my first ever. I think we'll start going more often.

I was looking through my knives the other day and found my old case Sod buster. That knife has been around for a while. I remember buying it at the old Western Auto store way back when I was still in grade school. I'm guessing I MIGHT have been in the 6th grade. I didn't have enough money to buy it, but the store owner held it for me and let me bring in part of my weekly allowance until I got it paid for. I think that was probable my first store bought knife (that I paid for all by myself). I guess I was either 11 or 12, so that means I have had it for 46 or 47 years! Many many years ago I "Modified" it by filing grooves in the black plastic handle so it wasn't so slick with "Stuff" on it.

Yeah But I've had a diet coke since then and can't remember what you said, unless it was about the muk, Bird dog and Muppy.

I took my nightly meds a little while ago so that must have helped. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Pop quiz, if you were going to be transported back through time into the middle ages, and you could only take what you had on you, what would you be taking. NO BOB/packs, just what is in your pockets and on your belt. We are of course talking survival type stuff here, unless there is something you REALLY can't live without. AND we are talking about perfect health, so no meds needed.

Oh and it's gotta be something you already have or have ordered.

1. Bulldog regulator
2. Wardog
3. Muppy (or the 311 once I get it, would have to see)
4. Ferro rods (Several, with strikers) and some tinder, probably PJCB (I'm lousy at making fires).
5. Diamond hones, probably a couple course and a fine one, or XC, C and F.
6. A wind up capacitor powered led flashlight
7. My Chris Reeve Umnumzaan and small Sebenza folders.
8. Bear Grylls parang machete

Kind of a weird list, and I am sure there are some things I am not thinking about but it was just a fleeting thought that flashed across my mind. I was thinking about movies and "Army of Darkness" came to mind.
