I'm with you on that JJ. Hand Written letters just seem to give communication that personal touch. Course you got to have somebody to write to first, DO YOU JJ?

Not dwelling on it really, just felt like saying it. Not many people here in Salt Lake I consider friends since I have only spent a month here out of the 6 I have been stationed here, so I rely on you cyber friends for the things I feel just need to be said sometimes.

There's something about holding a message that the other person actually touched and created when reading a message.

I used to write to pawpaw every other week. I still write to my neice. Me and her get along better than any other two in our family.

I was looking online today at flag display cases thathave a section for medals. Man, they are proud of those things. 200 bucks and up.

Or do you have any buddies overseas in places that do woodwork on the cheap? With your skill you could blueprint out what you wanted and get it custom built?

She is 16. We have been writing eachother since her first letter to me at boot camp when she was 10. She still won't tell me how she knew how to get a letter to me.

Grandpa loved the letters. For a while I was just calling him every week or so, but he would ask why I haven't written. So, I stopped calling to tell him things and just wrote instead. He was happier with that. I guess it's a generational thing, and I am glad my neice ambravces it.

Heck, my Dad has all the tools in his garage, IF I had the skills I'd make one for you.
